Digital Remastering
A new professional service of Antiphonic to the public and to bands, offering analog-to-digital remastering from vinyl records to a digital format (.wav or CD). We record the audio from the vinyl record into a high definition mastering center, clean the audio (if needed), and create a high quality master file of your recording. The file can then be sent to you on CD or temporarily made available for download from antiphonic.com. Each order comes with a master CD, a back up copy, and a guarenteed replacement to be kept on file should you ever lose your copy.
This service is primarily for older groups who released their music on vinyl when vinyl was the dominating media format, and have lost their audio masters.
To protect copywritten material several requirements stand and must be satisfied including proof of ownership, ID, among other things.
